RDA has submitted to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), application for this course to receive 10 hours of continuing education credit. It is recommended by RDA and NASW for applicants to take the necessary steps to ensure that CE credits from online training (called distance learning) meet the criteria in your state. This link, Social Work Licensure Boards’ Response to the NASW CE Approval Program, provides information on states that approve CE trainings, but applicants should contact their state chapters to receive verification that online training is also acceptable. If your state is not listed as not accepting CE credits contact you local chapter. NASW Chapters. To verify that the training has been completed, NASW requires that a post test be submitted upon completion. The successful post test and application for CE credits will then be submitted to NASW for CE Credits. The following time constraints apply to receive credit for the training: Completion of post test within 30 days of training start date. Completion of evaluation form with 60 days of training start date. Certification Upon completion of this training and submission of the post-test form, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for the EAP/CISM training from Robert Douglas and Associates. In addition, this certificate is pending for meeting the criteria for the Basic Training requirements for certification from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. Your certificate will be mailed to the address listed in registration.
